Kid Filmmakers™ is the original year-round traveling filmmaking academy which introduces children (grades 1-12) to acting, animation, costuming, directing, editing, film critiquing, film scoring, lighting and sound, makeup, producing, screenwriting, videography and 16mm filmmaking.

•Produced by Austen Sharp LLC since 2002, Kid Filmmakers is committed to producing quality filmmaking programs for children. We offer Summer Shoot™, Animation Vacation™, Film Factory™ and Teen Indies™ programs to the general public. Additionally, Kid Filmmakers™ is available to schools, libraries, community centers, film festivals, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, churches and movie theaters to produce workshops like Cutting Loose™, Faked You Out!™, Get Reel™, Hocus Focus™, Movie Maestros™, Practical Pirates™, Project 3-D™, Screen Stealers™ and TV Graffiti™.

•Kid Filmmakers employs a freelance staff of over 100 experienced film industry professionals with credits from MGM Pictures, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Miramax, Discovery Channel, NBC, PBS, ESPN, TNN, Turner Broadcasting, AOL/Time Warner and more. (Some are film and television award winners!) Because we care, all staff members must pass a Background Criminal Investigation.
