Krista Weller Burns has studied screenwriting in both New York and Los Angeles. From the likes of Hal Ackerman (UCLA), David Freeman, Michael Hague, James Dellasandro, Terry Rossio, Jeff Kitchen and Victoria Wisdom.

She is an actress and writer with over ten years experience in public relations and political consulting, where she developed media strategy, wrote ad copy and provided media training for corporate, political and non-profit clients.

In addition to being a published author, she has served as Creative Producer on local independent films (“Getting Out of Rhode Island” and "41".)

Her experience on both sides of the camera allows Krista to bring a unique understanding to the world of being a working writer.

She continues to perform in live theater in the New England -- New York corridor and is always currently working on several screenplays.
