Eleyne Austen Sharp--CEO/Executive Director
Eleyne Austen Sharp created The Film Community™ as the umbrella organization for Kid Filmmakers (2002) and Master Filmmakers (2008). She has spent 29 years as a freelance writer, copywriter, radio scriptwriter, publicist, newspaper and magazine editor, author and events producer. Her clients have included tourism bureaus, bed and breakfasts, theaters, film commissions, film festivals, opera companies, museums, office supply companies and restaurant chains. She also produced local cable television shows in Massachusetts and later worked in Washington, D.C. for WETA-TV and the nationally-acclaimed syndicated "America's Black Forum" with Julian Bond. Eleyne studied screenwriting in Bethesda, Maryland with Dr. Richard A. Blum, author of Television and ScreenWriting: From Concept to Contract. In addition to overseeing The Film Community™, she continues to work on her own film and book projects.

Krista Weller Burns--Creative Consultant/Marketing
iKrista Weller Burns has studied screenwriting in both New York and Los Angeles, from the likes of Hal Ackerman (UCLA), David Freeman, Michael Hague, James Dellasandro, Terry Rossio, Jeff Kitchen and Victoria Wisdom. She is an actress and writer with over ten years experience in public relations and political consulting, where she developed media strategy, wrote ad copy and provided media training for corporate, political and non-profit clients. In addition to being a published author, she has served as Creative Producer on local independent films (“Getting Out of Rhode Island” and "41".) Her experience on both sides of the camera allows Krista to bring a unique understanding to the world of being a working writer. She continues to perform in live theater in the New England – New York corridor and is always currently working on several screenplays.
