Summer 2010
This year, Kid Filmmakers summer programs will be offered to
the general public in Connecticut and New Hampshire. Additionally,
we continue to host private summer programs throughout New England.
Summer Shoot ~ Portsmouth, NH
Nearly 1800 minutes of instruction in just 5 days! Each crew (divided by age) will produce a 1) documentary about peace or ecology, 2) Kid Filmmakers commercial, 3) silent film and 4) drama, comedy or musical. Selected projects will appear on the FLYING POPCORN! YouTube channel, hosted by Kid Filmmakers. Registration includes hands-on instruction, daily film screenings, one DVD copy of film projects (i.e. editing, duplication and shipping costs) and certificate of completion. (NOTE: This program includes daily movie screenings. Movies are shown to inspire and illustrate specific film techniques and are a significant part of the film education process.)

HOW TO REGISTER: Please print and mail the REGISTRATION FORM (PDF format) and send with payment to: Kid Filmmakers, P.O. Box 12, Newport, RI 02840. Spaces may be reserved with a credit card by telephone at 401-294-4922 or 1-800-459-4922. However, you must still print and mail the registration form and medical form to Kid Filmmakers. PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept check, money order and credit cards. Should you wish to pay by credit card via PayPal, please click the appropriate category on the registration form. For this convenience, a service fee will be charged. (You must still print and mail the registration form and medical form to Kid Filmmakers.) CONFIRMATION LETTERS: Your registration is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation letter via snail mail. Should you not receive your letter within 3 weeks of registration via phone, mail or snail mail, email us or call 401-294-4922 or 1-800-459-4922. WAITING LISTS: In the event a program has reached its maximum capacity, a waiting list will be created. In some cases, an additional program may be scheduled by the facility. FINANCIAL AID: Kid Filmmakers is pleased to offer partial scholarships to deserving recipients. Partial scholarships are designed to cover the difference between what a family can pay and the actual fee. Only one scholarship per family is available. Please note that applications or registrations that are incomplete or lack the partial payment cannot be processed. All awards are confidential.
