Eleyne Austen Sharp is the Founder and Executive Director of KID FILMMAKERS.
She has spent 39 years as a freelance writer, copywriter, radio scriptwriter, publicist, newspaper and magazine editor, and events producer. She is a Young Adult novelist and nonfiction author.
She also produced local cable television shows in Massachusetts and later worked in Washington, D.C. for WETA-TV and the nationally-acclaimed syndicated "America's Black Forum" with civil rights leader Julian Bond.
Ms. Sharp studied screenwriting with Dr. Richard A. Blum, author of Television and ScreenWriting: From Concept to Contract.
